Welcome to our site! Thank you for visiting our website. We are looking forward to becoming first time parents through open adoption. We have a wonderful, active life together but dream of having a family. Infertility has made this a struggle for us but has happily lead us to adoption. We realized that our dream was to become parents and share our love and life with a child.   The foundation of our life together is our faith. We are practicing Catholics and are involved in many ministries in our church. We were married at our parish in 2003 and enjoy attending Mass together every week. We live in the beautiful, coastal town of Ventura, California with our cat Shelby. Paul is a State wildlife biologist and Lori works in a special education preschool classroom. We both feel blessed to have work that is rewarding. Paul's career allows for us to financially secure and because of this Lori will be able to become a full time mom. Since both of us were raised by stay at home mom's this has always been our ideal situation for our child. In our spare time we love being out in nature. We have wonderful local beaches and mountain areas nearby for hiking, camping and bird watching. We can't wait until our child joins us in all the outdoor activities we enjoy!   Paul and I both feel it is important to give children stability, affection, acceptance and a safe place to call home. Although we know that raising children will also require a great deal of time, patience and energy, we are more than ready to provide all these things for our child.   We hope our Dear Birthparent letter and pictures we have included on this website will give you a sense of our life together and what a loving family your child would be a part of.   Thank you for considering adoption.
